Are you a writer looking for motivation, trying to find your muse, and up for a good adventure? Then why not join us for another Writing Workshop Adventure.
In our fourth instalment of outdoor writing workshops (Join the Ranks) we are going to the historic WW2 harbour sentinel of Fort Petrie. Located along the shores of New Victoria, Cape Breton, the Fort Petrie setting will definitely be a source of inspiration. With a lighthouse in the distance, sailboats and large oceangoing vessels plying the waterway, walking trails, underground bunkers and fortifications, and a three story Fort of major military importance in the war, there will be no shortage of ideas and inspiration to spark your writing.
This day-long workshop is ideal for beginners as well as more seasoned writers looking for an immersive motivational escape. We provide snacks, tea, supper, chocolate fondue, literary exercises and free time to write. You bring yourself and a willingness to get your words down on paper.
So if you want to set aside a day devoted to writing words from the front line, don’t mind a bit of physical activity, enjoy the company of like-minded people, and want to be part of something different, join us for a genuine Cape Breton adventure on Saturday, September 13.
